35W Collapse

I live in the Minneapolis area where the 35W bridge collapsed yesterday.   The response by citizens and rescue workers was great.  Many in the business community dropped what they were doing to focus on recovery and aid.  It was a sleepy summer in Minneapolis this year.  Our biggest news event of the day was out star basketball player being traded to Boston.  The owner of the team when interviewed said there are more important things to think about than basketball, instead wanting to get people to focus on helping the victims of this disaster.

In this terrible event that will affect this area for years to come, I’m proud to see the coming together to help those who need help.
